Job Description

Logistics Executive | Retail | EgyptOverview of the roleAs a Logistics Executive you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations within the supply chain and registration processes. Your primary responsibilities will involve managing the Quality Control (QC) renewal for registration and whitelist, overseeing local warehousing, and liaising with governmental bodies like GOEIC for compliance.What you will doQC Renewal for Registration & White listTo ensure submission of certificate & Registration ministerial Decree to Registration Department and keep the brand under whitelist.Ensure payments related to certification are done on regular basis.Engage with brands to submit ISO9001 certificates to continue with whitelist.

  • Manage local warehousing.
  • Liase closely with GOEIC, clearance service providers and government relations
  • Preparing registration documents with the brand principal for the new company that owns the trademark.
  • Complete the registration cycle for the new company that owns the trademark.
  • Register the new Distribution Center (DC) in the UAE.
  • Complete the whole cycle for the new company that owns TM and new DCs.
  • Register new origins to the decree in the whitelist department at GOEIC.
  • Initiating the importation flow from the new Distribution Center (DC) in the UAE.
  • Plan, budget and manage shipments to ensure stock availability merchandise in all retail outlets
  • Continuous monitoring of 3PL & other service providers against agreed KPIs
  • Plan border closure dispatch & deliveries during festive seasons
  • Validate invoices and ensure that charges are consistent within agreed terms.
  • Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Reports to track, stock, and costs throughout the supply chain.
  • Report incidents and process claims for compensations.
Beauty ? Registration
  • Liaison with brands and MOH to register beauty products.
  • Ensure all the documentation are correct as per the law.
  • Facilitate smooth clearance of beauty products which may include, follow up with customs, MOH, lab test etc.
Import Shipments
  • Monitoring the shipments in the pipeline and the expected arrival dates at Egypt ports
  • Ensure the availability of the shipping documents before shipments arrival.
  • Arrange the bank forms and marine insurance certificates.
  • Complete data entry in the tracking sheet
  • Service providers? invoices verification as per agreed rates and coordinate with Finance department for smooth payments to the service providers.
  • Work with the line manager to ensure that targets are achieved (lead time / cost saving)
Ensure all inbound from hubs to be done within agreed lead-time and cost including destination clearance. Maintain shipment level data with FOB value and logistic cost. Appropriate freight planning with merchandising during budgeting.ÿ
