We aim to broaden thinking and advance understanding, providing academics and professionals with a platform to share ideas and realise their individual potential.˙Closing date - 9th August 2022We are looking for someone who can expertly contribute to marketing business planning and delivery within the MENA region based on corporate priorities and business opportunities. This includes working with colleagues from our Commercial team and the wider EMENA Marketing group to align our marketing strategy to growth opportunities and develop our marketing capability within the region.˙Key Accountabilities

  • Support the development and roll out of our marketing strategy in the MENA region, focusing particularly on targeting researcher communities to secure submissions of journal articles.
  • Work alongside the Commercial team to manage our key customers in the region, ensuring our joint goals for promoting our agreements and growing our revenues are met.˙
  • Plan, implement, report on, and adapt activities to meet an agreed set of commercial objectives and KPIs (submissions, revenue, MQLs, etc.) and within agreed timelines and budgets
  • Develop and track key performance metrics and report on ROI and make decisions based on those metrics
  • Optimize and continuously refine multi-channel campaigns and feed them into the team/departmental strategy
  • Contribute to the development of best practice within MENA, advising and making recommendations as required
  • Find innovative ways to integrate digital strategies and technology into best practices
  • Collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders who can benefit from, and inform the development of, the expert capability and best practices
  • Contribute to the tactical implementation of key activities, working with other members of the EMENA team as required.
  • Undertake and support market research to understand customer, competitor, and industry developments; Use feedback voice of the customer to influence strategy across the wider Marketing team
  • Contribute ideas for, and feedback on, potential new products and/or services.
  • Maintain reports, budgets, trackers as required, analysing performance of campaigns, services and activities carried out
  • Periodic travel to professional development training, conferences and exhibitions and/or carry out other customer-facing activities, reporting back as required
  • Contribute to driving a culture of high-performance and continuous improvement across the larger marketing team
  • Act as a role model to develop the capability of others across the larger marketing team
  • Accountable for managing own learning, taking responsibility to identify and develop skills gaps

Additional InformationYou must have the right to live and work in Egypt. This role is based in our office in Cairo˙and will involve quarterly visits to Taylor & Francis headquarters in the UK.
