Job Description

Requisition Title: Assistant Manager Finance & PlanningJob Number: 2200003JJob Purpose

  • To manage the Financial and Management reporting for CIBG Qatar in line with the new Core Banking requirements and provide analytical support to CIBG/ Qatar business for ongoing business decisions
  • To provide support to the Manager Finance & Planning Qatar in managing the financial and business planning process and implementing the reporting framework in line with the new Core banking system
  • Cross functional assistance in implementation Financial and regulatory reporting framework under the new Core Banking system
  • To act as back up for Manager Finance & Planning for matters relating to CIBG
  • Support the business through analysis of performance and identifying revenue enhancement/ cost reduction opportunities.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience? Evaluate and provide feedback on Business Plans and proposals and translate the same into financial plans.? Evaluate business performance using meaningful analytical tools? Co ordinate with business to ensure timely completion of a detailed planning process.? Highlight to senior management business issues/ opportunities? Ensure proper recognition of revenues and expenses of business? Ensure there is no revenue leakage? Monitor productivity of various business channels? Ensure business compliance to internal/ external policies? To formulate and finalize expense plan for the Qatar business? Plan and monitor controllable expenses closely? To supervise the QCB reporting process in Qatar and ensure adherence to timelines? Regular improvement in MIS generation process to attain maximum automation? Ensure all IT related projects are managed effectively and completed on time.?
