Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Music Composer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Music Composer, you will be responsible for creating original musical compositions for a variety of projects, including films, television shows, commercials, and video games. You will collaborate closely with directors, producers, and other creative professionals to understand their vision and create music that enhances their projects.Responsibilities:

  1. Compose original musical pieces in various genres, including orchestral, electronic, and hybrid styles
  2. Collaborate with directors, producers, and other creative professionals to understand their vision and requirements
  3. Create music that enhances the emotional impact and narrative of films, television shows, commercials, and video games
  4. Conduct research on different musical styles and trends to stay current and innovative
  5. Record and produce high-quality audio recordings of compositions
  6. Work closely with sound designers and engineers to ensure the music integrates seamlessly with other audio elements
  7. Attend meetings and rehearsals to provide input and feedback on the use of music in projects
  8. Revise and edit compositions based on feedback from clients and creative professionals
  9. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  10. Stay updated with advancements in music production technology and software
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in Music Composition or a related field
  2. Proven experience as a Music Composer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of musical styles
  3. Proficient in music composition software, such as Logic Pro, Pro Tools, or Ableton Live
  4. Ability to read and write musical notation
  5. Strong understanding of music theory and composition techniques
  6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  7. Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  9. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
  10. Knowledge of different musical genres and trends
