Job Description

Overview of the role:Demand plannerÿis part of inventory control team in Global Aftersales at Al Futtaim Automotive. The team is responsible for balancing the inventory cost with service level as per business recommendation. Currently the team is responsible for managing stock.ÿDemand plannerÿis responsible for improving the forecast accuracy at the national as well as branch level so that right stock is procured on time and made available to customers.ÿThis is achieved by utilizing the tools specially Syncron to monitor the demand transactions and taking timely actions to avoid the risk of run out. There is a need of continuous stakeholder alignment to understand the business and market needs to keep the stock healthy.ÿÿWhat you will do:Demand Planning & AnalysisThere is a need of Demand Planner is to successfully manage the customer expectations by fulfilling the following responsibilities:?ÿÿÿSuccessful delivery of operations and projects objectives.?ÿÿÿTo liaise with internal and external stakeholders to understand the business requirements?ÿÿÿTo ensure all urgent branch orders are processed on time, articles are created on time, branch stakeholders are kept up to date on ETA?ÿÿÿEnsure and expedite parts delivery from PDC to branches to service end customer and maintain branch NPS score?ÿÿÿSupport discussions with OEM/Principals to understand Supply Chain constraints and put in place measures to mitigate risk?ÿÿÿConduct branch visits, liaise with stakeholders at all levels, review branch performance on a monthly basis?ÿÿÿTo standardize and continuously improve the inventory management/ Supply chain delivery operations.ÿ?ÿÿÿInitiate and participate in Kaizen activities?ÿÿÿTo evaluate the stock performance based on the stock turnover, sales, lost sales, lead time and other factors that might affect the inventory performance.?ÿÿÿTo minimize the risk of aged stock by evaluating the excess and slow-moving inventory and proactively discuss with the sales & service teams for action plan.?ÿÿÿTo provide recommendations to product team to improveÿthe stock health and service levels.?ÿÿÿTo update and maintain the parts data healthBrand Lead (For a specific Automotive Brand/Branch)?ÿÿÿResponsible as single point of contact for all Dealerships/Workshops/Bodyshops in the UAE for respective brand for Stock/Supply Chain management?ÿÿÿRecall and Redistribution Order Processing and Follow up?ÿÿÿMonitor Auto Replenishment orders?ÿÿÿReview and Ensure availability of Stocked Parts at Branches?ÿÿÿFollow up on Service Level with respective Branch RepresentativeÿLost Sales Analysis & Improvementÿ?ÿÿÿGather inquiry information and analyse to identify part numbers that potentially could increase company revenue?ÿÿÿCollect Lost Sales information from Sales team and take necessary action to improve the availability.?ÿÿÿReview of Stocked and Non-Stocked Items and analysis of root cause and counter measures and coordinate to Ordering team for further actions.ÿ?ÿÿÿProactively working with Sales team to avoid Last Sales or Local PurchaseÿKPI Dashboard?ÿÿÿService Level?ÿÿÿBranch Stock Health?ÿÿÿForecast Accuracy?ÿÿÿBack Order ageing?ÿÿÿLocal Purchaseÿ?ÿÿÿLost Sales
