THANK YOU.--------------German Dental and Neuromuscular Clinic in JLT, Dubai looking for a˙European/Canadian-educated Dental Assistant˙in a Part/Full-time positionYou can expect a permanent employment relationship, attractive conditions, and a good working atmosphere.You have the opportunity to enter a professional and dynamic work environment.Your duties as a dental assistant will include but are not limited to:- Supporting dental care delivery by preparing the treatment room, patient, instruments, and materials- Performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act- Preparing treatment rooms for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols- Readying patients for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patients- Assembling instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to the treatment area, positioning instruments for dentist?s access, suctioning, and passing instruments- Providing materials by selecting, mixing, and placing materials on instruments and in the patient?s mouth- Providing diagnostic information by exposing and developing radiographic studies and pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts.- Maintaining the patient appearance and ability to masticate by fabricating temporary restorations and cleaning and polishing removable appliances.- Helping dentists manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug, and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.- Documenting dental care services by charting in patient records.- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations- Maintaining dental supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing, and expediting orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies- Conserving dental resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed- Knowledge of practice administration or billing is desirable, but not a must- An additional qualification in hygiene management is desirable, but not a mustCertifications:˙Registered License from Country of Origin. The desired candidate has preferably a valid˙DHA license˙or transferable equivalentEducation:˙Bachelor?s Degree, Graduate of an accredited college of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Dental MedicineExperience:˙3 or more years of experience as a dental assistantLanguage:˙fluent in English, any additional languages (German and Arabic) are desirableJob Types: Full-timeFull-time 40-45 per weekSalary: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:
