Job PurposeTo organize and conduct approved type and tasks training as well as mandatory training on EK fleet in accordance to UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) requirements. This is based on job holders qualifications and scope/limitations in line with Compliance Monitoring Authorization/approval certification in order to enable Licenced Aircraft Engineers/Technicians obtain type rating authorization and approvals.Qualifications & ExperienceEngineering.Other : 8+ YearsDegree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) : Knowledge/skills: - Degree in Engineering - Aeronautical subjects/Mechanical/Avionics/Electronic/Technical Engineering OR Holding Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License (B1/B2) - Experience of which at least 3 years as an Aircraft Instructor OR - Licensed Aircraft holder with least 12yrs experience in Maintenance Engineering environment of which 3yrs as an Instructor - Hold approval on at least one Aircraft Type (B777 or A380) - Thorough knowledge of the Licensing system - Ability to train, coach, counsel and guide - Ability to deal with people in a persuasive and firm manner - Excellent report writing and analytical thinking skills Leadership Role : YES Safety Sensitive Role: YES Details of Safety Sensitive role Yes/No Working at height Y Exposure to hazardous energy systems Y Heavy lifting N Working in areas with motorised mobile equipment Y Work in confined spaces Y Contact with contaminations materials (Humans/Animals/Chemicals) Y Contact with dangerous good Y Work in an extremely noisy environment Y Work in heat Y Working with pressurised substances Y Exposure to fixed protruding sharp objects Y Exposure to contact with moving/falling objects.
