Job Description

The position is responsible for managing overall functions of International Trade, which includes supply sources, shipping, financial limits, sales regions/contacts and coordination & evaluation of International Trade?s functions.

  • Responsible for expanding and developing supply sources for LPG, for both refrigerated and pressurized vessels and petrochemicals.?
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining business with new shipping agents/firms (for both pressurized and refrigerated vessels).?
  • Responsible for introducing company in banks and developing system to achieve financial limits from banks for trade?
  • Developing sales strength in new regions including but not limited to China, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, South Africa, East Africa and any other potential country.?
  • Responsible for maintaining good rapport and working relationship with International trade parties and customers (importers).?
  • Ensures an effective utilization of trade team of the group.?
  • Assists Chairman in making strategic decisions about International Trade.?
  • Must project at all times a positive and motivated attitude and exercise self-control.?
  • Must provide courteous and professional service at all times.?
  • Provide market and price analysis to the management on the LPG & Petrochemicals markets
  • Work closely with the Risk and Finance department to maximize profitability and ensure timely execution of physical and derivative trades.?
