Job descriptionHideAs part of NASEC growth plans, we are currently looking for a˙Senior Design Architect˙with experience of 8+ years to join our Design team in Dubai, UAE.Should have good command in using Revit Architecture in designing and building information modeling (BIM). Develops plan and creative-design concepts for projects. Prepares presentation, design drawings, details and plans for project success.Qualities & Skills

  • Experienced in Leading the design process during the concept/ Schematic designs stages
  • Have a good knowledge and experiences with all Dubai authorities, Nakheel, Trakhees, DM, DCD, DDA?etc.
  • Experience of working in a recognized global/ design offices
  • Capable of leading large-scale projects in Hospitality, Mixed use, Residential, commercial and High rise.
  • Excellent design and technical capabilities
  • Strong leadership/ mentoring skills
  • Self-motivated and able to take responsibility
  • Flexible attitude and works well under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to understand and formulate design decisions and present for discussion

  • Ability and will to mentor and provide support to junior staff members and spread knowledge across the wider architectural community.
  • Ability and will to update knowledge.
  • Coordinate and lead the assigned team of 3-5 Architects and ensure that design excellence is achieved throughout.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Developed architectural design skills and understanding of the design process and interfaces between design disciplines.
  • Lead the design work ensuring project objectives are met, design instructions are implemented and delivery is achieved within the set time and budget.
  • Responsible for the correctness, accuracy and complete multi-disciplinary coordination of the design documentation prepared by the assigned team.
  • Coordinate and develop responses to review comments, tender queries, contractor?s queries, etc.
  • Responsible, for the preparation and compilation of design presentations and design reports.

Requirements
  • B.Arch or B.Sc in Architecture.
  • Minimum 10 years post qualification experience (with minimum 5 years in UAE)
  • Be a registered member of an accredited RIBA or ARB
  • Proficiency in: 3dmax, Revit, Auto Cad, Photoshop
