We closely monitor the execution of the proposed solution under well-defined processes, leveraging deep industry and technological knowledge.The JobOur client is looking for an experienced Ship Broker who will will be responsible for the conducting, concluding, marketing and business development of ship brokering business in Handy/Supramax/Panamax segment for bulk shipping which include actively negotiating vessel / cargoes, handling charter and tender agreements.Your responsibilities will include:Identifying potential revenue opportunities in sectors such as resources, agricultural, energy, trading and engineering.Establishing excellent working relationship with clients.Developing and implementing marketing and ship brokering strategies to provide integrated services to meet client?s requirements.Monitoring market conditions and chartering rates in the industry and reporting of major contracts and outcomes of tender awards.Developing, negotiating and ensuring timeliness, accuracy and completeness of all finalized terms of projects and business.Ensuring close coordination with the operations team on voyage execution.Ideal CandidateSkills Required:You have at least 4 years experience ideally as a Ship Broker within Shipping.You have solid experience in a regional role ideally including experience covering Rest of Asia, Southeast Asia and India.You have a degree or diploma ideally in Shipping, Maritime Studies, Business, Economics or Logistics.You possess excellent negotiating skills with a strong ability to influence people of all levels.You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical dataYou are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environmentsYou are a strong networker & relationship builderRef: PJ14SV2HWD Company Profile Snaphunt is a specialist recruiting platform that takes the pain out of hiring and job searching.
