Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing project plans and specifications, preparing cost estimates, and providing accurate and timely proposals to clients. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:

  1. Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to understand project requirements.
  2. Conduct on-site visits to gather necessary information for accurate cost estimation.
  3. Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine materials, labor, and equipment required for each project phase.
  4. Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals, including labor and material costs, subcontractor costs, and any other project-related expenses.
  5. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of cost estimates.
  6. Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative materials or methods for consideration.
  7. Monitor and track project costs, comparing actual costs to estimated costs, and providing regular reports to management.
  8. Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess project requirements and answer any questions from potential clients.
  9. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and new materials or technologies that may impact cost estimates.
  10. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing information.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
  3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
  4. Proficient in using cost estimating software and tools.
  5. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
  6. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  9. Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  10. Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to project sites.
