Job Description

A Government Relations Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with government entities, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations, and facilitating the smooth operation of the companys business activities in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.Responsibilities:

  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with government authorities and entities in the Eastern Province.
  2. Stay updated on local laws, regulations, and policies that may impact the companys operations.
  3. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including obtaining necessary licenses and permits.
  4. Coordinate with government authorities on various business matters, such as permits, visas, and inspections.
  5. Represent the company in meetings with government officials and provide necessary information and documentation.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with government requirements and resolve any issues or obstacles.
  7. Monitor changes in government regulations and policies and provide guidance to the company on potential impacts.
  8. Prepare and submit reports to government authorities as required.
  9. Handle any government-related inquiries, audits, or investigations.
  10. Participate in industry associations and forums to stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
Preferred Candidate:
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-5 years of experience in government relations or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of local laws, regulations, and government processes in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with government authorities.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to navigate complex government processes and find solutions to challenges.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong ethical and professional conduct.
