Job Description

Sr. Sales Engineer - Chemicals/CatalystThe position will be responsible for the Sales function for promoting Catalysts to Petrochemical plants.˜He would be responsible for the developing business & achieving budgets for the specific Principal and respective customers individually:

  1. Responsible for Sales Budget of a Catalyst manufacturer
  2. Sales visits, Inquiry generation, Helping in Proposal generation - submissions, Technical approvals of products, Negotiations, Application Support, Trials, Vendor registration, Competition information, Market research, Tracking customers shutdown and Turn Around?s, Catalyst replacement schedules
Manage the Sales of the O&G Division?s ? CHEMICALS ? Catalysts products & services within geographic area of KSA.˜Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through market research, business tracking, competition monitoring, positive planning, and customer management.˜Identifies objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short-term and long-term Sales and Income earnings
  • Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts in consultation with Line management.
  • Manages relationship within customers and principals
  • Develops sales and liaises with Principals? sales support teams.
  • Review progress of sales and achievement throughout the year.
  • Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
  • Develops specific plans to ensure achievement and revenue growth in all principals? products.
  • Provides quarterly/half yearly results assessments of sales activities.
  • Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
  • Ensures all sales policies, practices and procedures are followed.
  • Collaborates with Principal & Operations Manager to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.
  • Interprets short-term and long-term effects on sales strategies in achieving profit.
  • Upgrades by proper timely training as required for himself, Customer programs/seminars in the areas of new account sales and growth, multi-product sales, profitability, improved presentation strategies competitive strategies, proper use and level of sales support, management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts.
  • ˜Collaborates with Operations Manager & Principals & achieve and establish budgets for sales, exhibitions, seminars and trade shows.
  • ˜Holds regular meetings with customers, principals˜
