The Information Technology & Process organization in DuPont is in the early phases of a multi-year, transformational program to modernize the SAP ERP landscape and has an immediate need for a Solution Architect to join the core program team. ÿThis position is a unique opportunity to serve as a software solution architect focusing on Financial Solutions (SAP modernization to S/4 at the core) while being a highly visible face to our business stakeholders and technology team.The Finance Solution Architect will be a leader on a dynamic team within DuPont IT Enterprise Solutions Delivery, leading efforts to re-design Finance processes by defining automation and integration requirements, then designing and delivering solutions. This role will work closely with internal & external development, quality assurance, and service delivery teams to deliver sustainable outcomes.The Finance Solution Architect will understand existing opportunities and challenges, prioritize based on business value and architect the overall technical vision for a specific solution to business challenges (design, describe, document, and manage the solution implementation), orchestrating integration and bringing various technical, application and business teams together.Responsibilities will include:

• Apply a structured methodology and lead solution architecture activities for the ERP+ and Enterprise Solution Delivery Teams
• Work with business and IT stakeholders to assess the maturity, criticality and overall state of application supported business capabilities in Finance and Procure to Pay.
• Assess the use of existing and emerging technologies in supporting the area?s objectives.
• Develop deliverables supporting a long-term business application roadmap that addresses end-to-end business capability needs with input from industry best practices.
• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to create business cases and define ROI for major initiatives.
• Lead technical requirements definition and solution design for the major initiatives in the roadmap.
• Define, adopt, and advocate best practices as they relate to SAP application architecture
• Oversee the design of system changes in the domain, ensuring we implement scalable, solutions aligned with DuPont IT strategy.
• Lead / participate in vendor and application evaluations to select the appropriate technology to support business needs.
• Collaborate with IT delivery teams, providing architectural guidance to support successful implementation delivery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor?s Degree with an emphasis in Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience and training
• Minimum of 7 years of related experience with business operations/processes to include analysis, design, documentation, and using industry best practices and standards and 4+ years of experience in SAP-FICO (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Profit center accounting, cost center accounting, product costing, internal orders, and Profitability Analysis).
• Proven experience in the conception and design of a scalable architecture that enhances productivity and efficiency for Finance teams.
• At least 5 years of experience designing and implementing business applications for Finance and Procurement.
• Experience working within Finance / Procurement platforms in an Architect role.
• Ability to influence business teams, including management, in the selection and design of technology solutions as well as implementation and support approaches.
• Successful track record working on complex, cross-functional projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical skills, and ability to deal with ambiguity in a rapidly changing business environment.
• Must have SAP ERP experience. S/4 experience preferred.
• Ability to design interfaces between SAP and external systems (IDOC based, flat file based, XML based) via EDI set up and coordination with EDI partners a plus
• Strong project and program management skills, experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
