Job Description

- BUYER?Job Introduction:Join Gazzaz, a leading name in luxury perfume and beauty retail, as a Luxury Retail Buyer. With a rich heritage dating back to 1942, we are seeking a dynamic, fashion-forward Saudi female with a keen eye for the latest trends in the luxury market, particularly within the perfume and beauty sectors. This role requires a blend of market insight, trend forecasting, and a deep understanding of the Saudi consumer?s luxury preferencesRoles & Responsibilities

  1. Use market knowledge and fashion exposure to source luxury retail products (fragrances, watches, handbags etc.) that align with the tastes and preferences of the Saudi market
  • for Saudis < 30 years)
  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing suppliers, as well as internal stakeholders, to develop a collaborative buying strategy that positions Gazzaz at the forefront of the luxury retail market.
  2. Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms, ensuring a mix of high-quality, exclusive, and innovative products for Gazzaz
  3. Continuously research and analyse market trends to make informed buying decisions, ensuring Gazzaz remains competitive and appealing to its target clientele.
  4. Forecast demand for existing and new SKU?s (including monitoring stock levels)
  5. Work closely with merchandising, operations, and marketing teams to ensure a cohesive product offering that meets sales and profit goals.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Passionate about luxury fashion, with specific interest and experience in luxury retail categories. Strong preference would be given to hiring Saudi females
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with the ability to secure advantageous terms.
  • Forward-thinking, with an ability to anticipate market trends and consumer needs.
  • Creative and innovative, constantly seeking exclusive brands, designers, and products that will differentiate Gazzaz in the luxury retail space.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Proficient in using insights and data to drive buying decisions and strategies.
