Job Description

Our company is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager Cybersecurity Defense to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a Senior Manager Cybersecurity Defense, you will be responsible for leading and managing the cybersecurity defense team, ensuring the security of our systems and data, and implementing effective security measures to protect against cyber threats.Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the cybersecurity defense team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
  2. Develop and implement cybersecurity defense strategies, policies, and procedures to protect against cyber threats.
  3. Monitor and analyze security events and incidents, and respond effectively to mitigate risks and minimize impact.
  4. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential security weaknesses.
  5. Manage and oversee the implementation of security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
  6. Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure the integration of cybersecurity defense measures into the organizations infrastructure and systems.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and best practices, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  8. Lead incident response efforts, including conducting investigations, coordinating with external partners, and implementing remediation actions.
  9. Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, ensuring the effectiveness of outsourced cybersecurity services.
  10. Prepare and present reports to senior management and stakeholders, providing insights into the organizations cybersecurity posture and recommending actions for improvement.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on cybersecurity defense.
  2. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
  3. Experience in leading and managing a cybersecurity defense team.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex cybersecurity concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and respond to security incidents and threats.
  6. Experience in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
  7. Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
  8. Experience in managing and overseeing the implementation of security controls, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
  9. Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA, are highly desirable.
  10. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
