Job Description

The PositionJOB ACCOUNTABILITIES? Overall responsible for inbound / imports? logistics function.? Keep Close liaison with Basel distribution for arranging the shipments within Due Delivery Dates accordingto placed orders.? Arrange ?Clearance Certificate? for each shipment from DRAP for customs.? Follow up with QA Basel / Germany for timely issuance of Summary Protocol, batch certificates, certificateof Analysis.? Preparation of Lot Release documents for our regulatory colleague in Islamabad for onwards submissionto NCL. Obtain sale allow from local Drug Regulatory Authority office on receipt of Lot Release Certificatefrom NCL Islamabad.? Process work order, insurance, bank guarantee, duty and taxes for imports.? Coordinate with Clearing Agent for timely clearance of Material and Safe delivery at 3PL warehouse.? Avoid Sales Restriction / sampling on commercial import from DRAP Karachi.? Take necessary action in case of any issues with regards to shipments and escalate to CLM if needed? Verify Clearing Agents bills in respect of customs clearances.? Handle various matters at Customs.? Prepare stamp duty, obtain payable challan and co-ordinate with RSS for issuance of stamp duty cheque.Also responsible for Managing Stamp Duty related matters and handle the audit queries related to stampduty.? Perform Good Receiving against import POs, and ensure the stock is stored in segregated area as per RPLquality guidelines.? Assist CLM to manage the inventory levels at 3PL as per agreed CDI and make the replenishmentaccordingly (inclusive of FOC / PSP)? Process invoicing, credit notes, inventory adjustments, FOC execution for 3PL? Work in a pool together with Business Support Associate (out bound) on the following activities.1. Responsible for reviewing tender enquiry received from Business and service provider and ensure ontime dispatching of tender documents well before its deadline2. Prepare and arrange required documents for tender from Regulatory, QA, Supply Chain, Finance andImports? Deputize Business Support Associate-Outbound in his absence? Ensure adherence to the SOPs, make renewal or updation when required as per business need.? Responsible for maintenance of records (electronic and physical) as per the Local CoreMap policy.? Ensure strict compliance of all Government rules and regulations and company?s policies and procedures.? Responsible to report incident/ accident immediately to SHE department. Attend/ complete all requisiteon-line and F2F trainings (Role specific, Safety Responsibility and Compliance) within specified time limitto ensure the learning outcome after the training has been implemented.? Identifies, collects and immediately reports all safety related information on Roche products to Local Safety Responsible as per Roche requirements and local regulations? Responsible to own the SHE goals as individual goals and play his/her part to achieve the goal in line with strategies action plan.JOB SPECIFICATIONSEDUCATION? Graduate in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering; MBA in Supply Chain is preferredEXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE? Minimum 2-3 years of relevant supply chain, overall 5 years of pharma industry experience.? Deep understanding of import and export policy, Customs and DRAP regulations.? Deep understanding of Tenders , PPRA rules and Drug Act 1976 (DRAP)? Good understanding and hands-on experience on SAP.JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES? Excellent team player.? Good interpersonnel skills?
