The .NET Architect will play a critical technical leadership role in on-going and new .NET related developmentÿprojects by leveraging their deep experience in .NET. They will design software systems with various Microsoft technologies such as C#, .NET, MVC, Dot NET CORE, SQL. The .NET Architect will manage detailed design phases for large projects/ programs identifying, tracking, and resolving technical issues and ensuring solution is designed to meet both functional and non-functional requirements. Strong experience with Azure, cloud architecture, security, microservices and other modern best practices is a must-have.ÿResponsibilities:Minimum of 8+ years of hands-onÿexperience developing and architecting scalable, reliability.NET based solutions leveraging modern best practices, such as, containerization, CICD, Azure DevOps pipeline, microservices etc. ÿThe ideal candidate will have demonstratable experience in implementing technology-specific best practices & standards. The mindset of the individual we are looking for makes decisions with success criteria in mind, from design through deployment, including, reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability, and scalability.ÿIn this role, you will:

• Design and develop .NET applications with Microsoft?s Azure cloud hosted platform.
• Create standards for development, based on industry best practices, and mentor other team members to implement these standards.
• Experience working with ERP or SAP Ariba.
• Design technical solutions from customer requirements to design and fulfill customer?s needs.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the design and deployment of new applications with a strong focus on both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Audit existing projects to ensure development team is following industry best practices.
• Provide senior level technical support to development teams across multiple projects.
• Support DevOps efforts by designing, implementing, and maintaining automation through CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrate ability to stay current with application Architecture best practices, existing and emerging technology platforms, and architectural and systems engineering industry trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical personnel and customers.

Requirements:

• Degree in related fieldÿpreferred.
• MCE: Azure Solutions Architect certification is preferred but notÿrequired.
• Over 8+ years? experience developing Web Applications
• Over 4+ years? experience working with Microsoft Azure
• Over 8+ years? experience developing and using the .NET framework
• Deep experience with cloud architecture principles and standards
• Deep experience and participation in all stages of the Agile processes
• Experience working with small teams, as well as working on large scale Enterprise projects.
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communications, particularly with a customer focus

Preferred Skills:ÿ

• 8+ years of .NET Development & Architecture experience leveraging newer technologies like .NET CORE and ASP.NET Identity, Azure etc.
• Web Front-End Development leveraging newer technologies like Angular andor React is a nice to have.
• Deep experience with best practices
• Self-starter and ability to work as part of team
• Attention to detail and continuous qualityÿimprovement.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
