Job Description

As a Help Desk Technician at Walaa Insurance Co. in Khobar, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support , ensuring their IT issues are resolved in a timely manner. You will be the first point of contact for all IT-related problems, so your exceptional customer service skills and technical knowledge will be vital in delivering an outstanding user experience.Responsibilities:

  1. Respond to IT support requests from clients via phone, email, or in-person, and provide prompt and accurate solutions to their technical issues.
  2. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems, and escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members if necessary.
  3. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, printers, and other IT peripherals.
  4. Create and manage user accounts, reset passwords, and assist with basic network administration tasks.
  5. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  6. Document and track all support requests and their resolutions in the ticketing system.
  7. Provide training and guidance to end-users on how to utilize IT equipment and software effectively.
  8. Collaborate with other IT teams to facilitate the resolution of complex technical issues.
  9. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in the IT industry.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Fresh graduate
  2. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  3. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  4. Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users effectively.
  5. Knowledge of various operating systems, including Windows and Mac OS.
  6. Familiarity with networking concepts, such as TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS.
  7. Experience with common software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and antivirus programs.
  8. Basic knowledge of hardware components, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  9. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment.
  10. Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are a plus.
