Job Description

As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the procurement process for our clients. This includes sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services to meet the needs of the organization. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products at the best possible cost. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement principles and best practices, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to optimize cost savings and efficiency.
  2. Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate contracts and pricing terms.
  3. Monitor and forecast demand to ensure adequate stock levels and avoid shortages.
  4. Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance on sourcing and supplier selection.
  6. Track and analyze key procurement metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
  7. Manage supplier relationships and conduct regular supplier performance evaluations.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  9. Ensure compliance with local regulations and ethical standards in procurement activities.
  10. Lead and develop a team of procurement professionals, providing training and guidance as needed.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum 8-12 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  2. Bachelors degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  3. Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and procedures.
  4. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  5. Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  7. Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
  9. Ability to lead and develop a team.
  10. Knowledge of local regulations and ethical standards in procurement.
