Job Description

Whats the roleWe are looking for a talented Electronics Hardware Development Engineer to join Hiltis Business Unit Measuring Electronics Team, and contribute to the development of new strategic products, as well as the improvement of our existing portfolio. You will work in cross-functional projects to design and develop high complexity PCB, analog circuits, and mixed signal electronic systems for a wide range of products including laser distance meters and robotic total stations.What does the role involveIn this role, you will be responsible for the electronics architecture, schematics design, PCB layout, and circuit verification of mid-to-high complexity electronic boards and systems featuring analogue and high frequency circuitry (RF) mixed signal electronics sensing FPGAs and MCUs. You will report the progress on a regular basis within project teams and have frequent interactions with FW Engineering, System Engineering, and Project Management to deliver high quality solutions within the required timeframe.   • Masters Degree or higher in Electronics Engineering or similar
  • At least 3-5 years relevant experience in electronics research & development
  • Expertise in analog electronics and design principles
  • Technical proficiency in schematics design, PCB layout, EMC, testing and validation
  • Experience with mid-to-high complexity mixed-signal circuits and PCBs, including e.g. analog front-ends and signal conditioning, optoelectronics, lasers, sensors (photodiodes, camera, IMU, inductive, radar, encoders, high precision motor drives)
  • Knowledge of FPGA (system concept, modelling, simulation, and implementation) is a plus
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Team player and proactive mindset
