We are looking for a talented and experienced Lead Backend Engineer (PHP) to join our team at Jeeny.As a Lead Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of our backend systems. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design and implement scalable solutions, and ensure the performance and reliability of our systems.Jeeny is a leading ride-hailing platform that simplifies transportation for millions of users around the world.   • Gathering requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional
  • solutions.
  • Responsible for development of new programs, analyzing current programs and processes, identifying
  • areas for modification and making recommendations which yield a more cost-effective product.
  • Contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple
  • environments and operating platforms.
  • Working closely with all team members to understand full-stack functionality and architecture.
  • Contributing ideas (technological and product) to enhance the overall app experience.
  • Staying abreast with technological updates and implementing technology improvements after R&D.
  • Ensure adherence to engineering processes such as code reviews, source control, unit testing, use case
  • analysis, defect management, continuous integration and deployment
  • Work closely with the Project Managers in providing technical solutions and innovative ideas to cater to
  • project needs.
  • Update job knowledge by researching new technologies and software products.
  • Supporting teams by developing documentation and assistance tools
  • Provide recommendations to management concerning issues of programmer productivity and software
  • development management.
