Description :Grade Level: L1Location: LahoreLast date to apply: 30th July, 2024What is NOC Supervision Specialist?NOC Supervision Specialist will be working in 24 x 7 ? Shifts for fault monitoring, troubleshooting/providing first level support for ongoing issues related to IT and Core domains.The role reports directly to the Manager Core-IT Supervision and this team comprises of 11 team members.

  • Fault Monitoring and reporting for IT nodes.
  • Engagement and escalation to all stakeholder teams
  • Planned Network activities support.
  • NMS Health Checks
  • Service Requests Handling
  • Health Checks of various platforms/tools
Key Deliverables
  • Alarm monitoring of various IT nodes. Must have a good knowledge of Infra
  • Service impact calculation of outage incidents.
  • JazzCash and Cloud Monitoring
  • OSS tools Health Check for auto escalations
  • Major KPI trends monitoring and reporting.
  • Provide support to field teams for Network Planned Activities and to do pre-post verifications.
  • Notifications Tool Health Check to ensure smooth working of all auto and manual escalations.

  • B.S. or B.Sc. Electrical/Telecom/Computer Engineering/IT
  • Prior working Experience in a NOC Environment.
  • Hands on experience with IT equipment.
  • Willing to work in shifts, on holidays & emergencies.
  • Soft skills and technical skills required.
  • Good understanding of IT technologies
  • Thorough know-how of network topologies and their inter-working
  • Hands-on experience of NMS systems and associated software tools.
  • Fault Management Procedures & Industry Practices.
  • Deep understanding of Network Operations Environment.
  • Customer Centric Approach to facilitate the internal customer teams.
  • Computer Proficiency, MS Office must include MS Visio & Power point.
  • Good Communication and Presentations skills.
