PRODUCTION MANAGERThe Andrea Wazen team is looking for a Production Manager with experience in the fashion industry to organize and oversee the manufacturing of˙luxury footwear goods and accessories.The ideal candidate will own the entire production process. They will strategize with other internal teams to ensure operational excellence.˙KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESProduction Calendar and Maintenance:˙- Define and manage the critical path from sketch to store to achieve planned launch dates. Working alongside the Design & Development team, you will need to formulate the range plan by shape, raw material and price point.˙- Updating factory dates and ship modes, and passing all pertinent information to Sales and Logistic departments.˙- Confirm with the finance and sales department the respective delivery dates of each factory and client.˙- Organize weekly touch base meetings with the Sales department to review current production standing and any outstanding issues.˙- Visiting Factories in Beirut on a weekly basis˙- Visiting Factories in Italy on a seasonal basisProduct Creation:˙- Gathering and sourcing material from each supplier for each collection and confirming them with the Design & Development team.˙- Creation of technical sheets for each style and variant to be confirmed by Design & Development team.˙- Delegation of technical sheets to respective factories and making sure they abide by the listed materials.˙- Attending international trade shows for material sourcing prior to each production.˙- Source new factories and manufacturers to ensure we get the highest quality product possible at the best price.˙- Build strong relationships with factories and suppliers in Beirut and Italy- Ensuring Andrea Wazen quality control standards are met.˙Product Cost:˙- Negotiate˙on costings and critical path dates˙- Gathering cost of all products from raw material to final result.˙- Gather all costs for packaging.˙- Get the best prices from suppliers and factories.˙- Organize seasonal touch˙base meetings to ensure that all costs are confirmed by the financial department in order to purchase all products in a timely manner.˙REQUIREMENTS- At least 2 years working in luxury for established footwear and / or accessories / couture˙brands.˙- A strong knowledge of trends and fashion accessories.˙-˙˙Knowledge and curiosity in leather, textile & fabric selection- Great communication and negotiation skills, excellent numerical skills are key˙- Incredibly organized and meticulous with attention to details- Based in Beirut, Lebanon˙˙
