Our diverse and collaborative teams are constantly pushing the boundaries of what?s possible.About this opportunityThe Business Development Manager role is a newly created role and will be supporting the definition and execution of the commercial, marketing and educational strategies and plans across the Distributors led markets to drive of Invisalign and iTero business developments and achievement of assigned target .The Business Development Manager North Africa will be responsible for the following markets: Egypt, Algeria and Tunisia. Reporting to Align North Africa General Manager, he/she will have full distributor management responsibility and will work closely with the Align North Africa functional teams to support all critical business and operational areas including Marketing, Practice Development, Clinical Support and Education, Sales Training and Customer Success.In this role, you will?Play an essential part in achieving the company?s business objectives, by directly (and indirectly) driving sales growth, and improving our overall profitability in our distributors led markets.Working closely with the distributors to build annual targets and forecasts and Annual Operating Plans.Develop and implement key programs to enable and untap specific sales growth strategies and goals, specifically around the areas of Practice Development, Key Account Management and Services. These programs may be designed to appeal to specific customer segments or provide broad-based tools for channel-wide growth. Programs will often involve working cross-functionally to ensure internal buy-in and implementation success, and in line with distributor?s contract framework and conditionsDrive iTero business development and growth, providing guidance and recommendation of plans and actions which can accelerate practice digitizationResponsible for building a training plan for distributor teams in partnership with Marketing and Training departments.Expected to be knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategiesSecure monthly and quarterly business reviews with Distributor?s Sales and broader Leadership team to effectively monitor and advance performance and business targets achievementsOversee distributor?s commercial practices and behaviours to secure compliance and ethics adherence in the markets in line with Align Compliance requirements and as per contractual agreement termsIn this role, you?ll need ?Minimum of 7 years work experience in relevant roles within sales management and/or business development of healthcare and/or medtech related corporationsWork experience in a medical device business a plus.Project management experience with cross-functional teams in a matrix environment highly desiredSuperior negotiation and influencing skillsAdvanced numeracy and analytical skillsBS/BA required, preferably in healthcare, technology or business related field. MBA strongly preferredSkills required: Language skills ?
