Job Description

Title: Area EngineerLocation: RYKMain Job PurposeSupport Operations Department objectives by keeping production equipment˙operating efficiently.Key Responsibilities

  • Managing maintenance, overhauling and troubleshooting of the plant?s equipment.
  • Seek new technologies and automation opportunities in lowering the overall cost of manufacturing.
  • Ensuring that the KPIs like MTTR, MTBF and FR are met.
  • Liaison with services departments (Utilities, Electrical and Instrumentation) to ensure smooth operation and planned maintenance on the plant.
  • Analysis and elimination of root cause of all the breakdowns through emergency work orders and machine ledgers as per WCM PM pillar.
  • Minimizing the R&M spend by improving machine?s reliability, optimized PM plan and localization of high cost machine spares
  • Ensuring the safety at workplace through implementation of SOPs, SMPs and risk assessments.
  • Carrying out objectives setting, performance appraisals and preparing training and development plans of the team.
  • Work closely with the project & SUIT team for new projects and innovations
Key Skills and Qualification
  • Sound knowledge of Packaging technologies.
  • Sound knowledge of Bearings, Transmission systems, Machining, Fabrication etc.
  • Basic knowledge of Electrical, Instrumentation and PLC systems.
  • Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
  • Sound knowledge of Maintenance Systems (WCM PM Pillar).
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics
  • 3 ? 4 years experience in a similar role
