Coordinator (Sales), Clifton Medical ServicesDepartmentClifton Medical ServicesEntityAKUH Off-CampusLocationKarachi, PakistanIntroductionThe Aga Khan University Hospital in addition to its five Hospitals creates access through its Outreach Services which include Clinical Laboratories, Outpatient Medical Centres, Pharmacy services, Home Health and other services. Outreach Services are designed to provide primary to secondary healthcare services to patients near their homes and are present in several cities across Pakistan. Outpatient Medical Centres offer a range of specialty clinics including Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Cardiopulmonary, Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics and Physiotherapy, and cater to children, adults, and elderly patients for general health checks or specific disease consultations.ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible to:

  • assist the supervisor in planning, supervision and coordination of sales strategies for Medical Centres and Home Health Services activities to ensure achieving business targets and enhancing customers? experience
  • build relationships with local and multinational corporates and government organization to explore the avenues of new business
  • explore opportunities to increase patient referrals from the referral sites to AKUH Medical Centres and Home Health services
  • collect data and keep records of referring physicians, hospitals,, clinics, and number of patients referred and revenue generated on a monthly-basis
  • assist area leads of medical services in achieving revenue and volume targets of all the assigned areas of outreach medical services by developing and implementing effective strategies.
  • organize events such as Continuous Medical Education (CME), Health Awareness Programme and activities to mark other international and national health-related days
  • assist area leads of medical services in developing promotional material in coordination with marketing department and ensure its distribution in targeted locations
  • plan promotional activities for new projects and services and share the outcomes of the marketing events.
  • plan for utilization of available resources judiciously, monitor and maintain necessary records.
RequirementsYou should have:
  • a Master?s degree, preferably in Business Administration
  • at least two years of relevant experience, preferably in a healthcare organization
  • sound knowledge of computer software packages including data maintenance and data analysis
  • thorough knowledge of medical services provided by a healthcare organization
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • ability to handle work pressure And willingness for national travel.
