Job Description

Our company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CFO to join our team in Qatar. As the CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our organization and ensuring that our financial operations are efficient and effective. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with a proven track record of success in a senior financial role. This is a leadership position that requires excellent analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies to support the overall business objectives
  2. Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  3. Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management
  4. Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate measures
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are aligned with overall business objectives
  6. Lead the financial planning and forecasting process, providing accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making
  7. Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities
  8. Ensure compliance with all tax and financial regulations
  9. Develop and maintain strong internal controls and financial systems
  10. Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  2. Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, and financial analysis
  3. Excellent understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
  4. Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies and plans
  5. Experience in managing cash flow, working capital, and financial risk
  6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders at all levels
  8. Strong leadership and team management skills
  9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  10. CPA or CMA certification is preferred
