Job Description

About this role:

  • Perform assigned post-award procurement of goods and services tasks and Contract Work Order tenders within the agreed performance criteria
  • Review purchase requisitions for completeness and liaise with end users to resolve any outstanding issues
  • Communicate with suppliers for getting contract work order (spot purchase) or contract item quotations
  • Analyze Suppliers commercial and technical quotations in order to facilitate and recommend the decision making process Communicate end-user for technical evaluation
  • Resolve general purchasing problems, variations and dispute issues with an appreciation of overall value-effectiveness solutions
  • Maintain strategic and ethical relationship with key suppliers and ensure effective coordination of procurement activity when required
  • Establish commercial commitment between and supplier to procure required materials and services up to a value according to ToFA
  • Monitor assigned agreements cap value and make sure availability of orders to process payment
  • Advise end users on all post-contract contractual matters including contract administration strategies and tactics
  • Provide financial analysis and cost stewardship support
  • Has experience in Subsurface contracts.
What you need to bring:
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Law, Science, Engineering or equivalent
  • 8 years experience in post award administration, procurement and contracting terms related to Subsurface activities
  • Excellent communication skills with customers. Strong written and oral English language communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office software and SAP experience is a must using MM module.
  • Familiar with procurement of goods and services based on awarded contract and minor/one off contract.
  • Resolve general purchasing problems, variations and dispute issues.
  • Maintain strategic and ethical relationship with suppliers and ensure effective coordination of procurement activity.
  • Monitor awarded contracts cap values. Provide financial analysis and cost stewardship support.
  • Interpret the complexities of the scope details to establish required contractual coverage in order to accurately and comprehensively cover all contractual risks.
  • Experienced in reading contractual terms and work with multi-national customers on all post-contract contractual matters.
  • Undertakes complex tasks and acts as a source of guidance for staff and internal customers.
  • Takes initiatives to deliver timely and cost effective service.
  • Maintain the business line needs/requirements by exercising contract extension options and incorporating additional scope while negotiating the best rates possible with the contractor when needed.
  • Work in a highly dynamic team environment that has tight-deadlines, high-pressure and visibility, which means that accuracy, initiative and ability to multi-task are essential.
  • Communicate regularly with Contractors and shareholders to perform post award work as per contract obligation.
