Job Description

  • Position objectives:
The primary focus of the Production Manager is to oversee and manage all aspects of manufacturing operations within the carpentry, joinery, and woodworking facility. This entails maintaining stringent quality control measures to ensure adherence to standards and timelines, while fostering a culture of efficiency and productivity among staff members. The Production Manager will be responsible for orchestrating seamless coordination among various teams to optimize output and uphold the highest standards of craftsmanship.
  • Principal Responsibilities:
  1. W Revise all job orders from the clients including showrooms, Sales department, and direct customers.
  2. Revise and sign and department Job order (Carpentry order / Painting order) for all received customer LPO or showroom purchase order
  3. Prepare the production schedule and priorities.
  4. Follow up with the engineering section to approve the materials and production method if needed.
  5. Develop a new product to be displayed in showrooms to satisfy the market needs
  6. Develop manufacturing processes and new methods to perform the task.
  7. Continuous improvement of the worker skills by training or experience sharing.
  8. Develop KPIs and standard time for repeated works.
  9. Revise the costing done by the engineering department and to determine the profit margin for all new custom made items. (As per the approved procedure and authority)
  10. Prepare the quotation requested by the clients as per the specifications or alternatives approved by the client
  11. Continues revision and evaluation for the staff and to ensure that it satisfies the requirements.
  12. Searching for anything can reduce the effort and improve the process (machine, tools, method, and raw materials
  13. Direct follow-up side to side with the sales department for relatively big projects.
  14. Follow up machine service and maintenance˙
  15. Ensure the smooth flow of information and materials between all factory departments.
  16. Continuously searching for reducing the costs of all production input (Materials, Labors, etc.˙).
  17. To ensure quality control sustainability.
  18. Prepare periodically production report.
  19. Ensure the safety of factory and labors, that includes labor accommodation

  1. Full knowledge of all Quality Control Practices in all Factory Sections.
