Job Description

Summery Accountable to provide Techno Functional Consultant support to Business End Users for the SAP Finance (FICO) for business processes related to Financial Accounting and Controlling. Have a thorough understanding of business processes related to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Financial Accounting, Cash Management, Bank Management, Controlling, Investment Management, FSCM, Bank Application and Project System Modules and with other integrated modules like Material Management, Plant Maintenance, Sales and Distribution, Human Recourses etc. Should Be able to support SAP cloud platform applications. Experience in S4/HANA Finance version with SAP Fiori experience will be an added advantage.Minimum Experience and Essential Knowledge:

  • A total of 10 + years professional work experience that includes:
  • Minimum of 5 years hands-on SAP implementation / support experience including at least 1 full life cycle implementation projects as Functional Consultant for development and deployment of Fiori apps for SAP FICO (including FM, PS and FSCM) covering Business Process Design, Configuration, Gap Analysis, Development, Testing and Training
  • Proven experience in Finance Management functions handling end to end cycle of Record to Report (R2R) right from the recording of transaction, Trial balance, Balance sheet, Profit and Loss account, Cash Flow statement etc.
  • Expertise in cross-modular integration of Financial Modules with Selling and Distribution, Materials Management, Human Resources, Production Planning, Controlling, Project Systems etc.
  • Experience in the Treasury and Risk Management (TRM), Business Planning and consolidation (BPC), Group Reporting (GR) Modules would be advantageous.
  • Working experience in SAP Mutli Bank Connectivity (MBC), Bank Communication Management (BCM) and integration with SWIFT/H2H would be an added advantage.
  • Implement and Support appropriate SAP S/4 HANA/ Other solutions for Finance processes to improve IT cost effectiveness.
  • Working knowledge of other modules and cross applications (e.g., Document Management System, Workflows)
  • Through expertise in SAP product capability and business acumen enable internal to measure and achieve the benefits in Finance Management to fully integrate the record to Report process for compliance with regulatory requirements, IFRS, increased customer satisfaction, and greater synchronization with business priorities.
  • In-depth knowledge / expertise on one or more of the technologies like SAP NetWeaver Gateway, UI5, OData, ABAP, IoT solutions, SAP BTP and related processes.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Applications is an added advantage.
  • Effectively analyzes root causes to provide solutions for production and development.
  • Recommend SAP best practices across the project for ensuring proper implementations of releases and upgrades.
  • Experience of Accelerated SAP and SAP Activate project management methodology (ASAP, Activate) project management and service level management
  • Excellent people management, problem solving, persuasion, negotiation, and decision-making skills and team player.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to communicate concepts as appropriate to customers, contractors, and staff.
  • Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
  • Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to junior staff/team members
