Job SummaryTo effectively manage and grow Retail customer base and Retail liability portfolio aimed to achieve annual financial goals and establish market leadership through:1)˙˙˙Managing customer acquisition propositions with focus on high value customer (i.e. Qatari & salaried Expat)2)˙˙˙Managing on-boarding initiatives such as QVC, CB@Work and DAO onboarding˙3)˙˙˙Managing account-related developments that covers maintenance of retail T&Cs and tariff of charges˙4)˙˙˙Managing the Retail Liability portfolio and product suite focused on growing low-cost deposits and maintain balance between high-cost deposits and over-all cost of fund˙Key AccountabilitiesCustomer Acquisition:˙?˙˙˙Drive customer acquisition and cross sell, by executing strategic propositions that appeal to Qatari and Expat customers and are market leading.˙?˙˙˙Facilitate conceptualization, design and review of CB Retail Banking acquisition propositions through the utilization of analytics data, market insights and internal capabilities.˙?˙˙˙Work with internal stakeholders to achieve acquisition strategies across all segments and nationalities in order to generate customer acquisition growth and revenue for the bankLiabilities:?˙˙˙Manage over-all Liabilities portfolio growth?˙˙˙Work with internal stakeholders to achieve deposit growth strategies across all segments.?˙˙˙Coordinate with Treasury on a best efforts basis to obtain competitive rates for customers and manage FTP rates in line with bank objectives.Product Strategy:?˙˙˙Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders (segments, marketing, IT, operations, other key departments) in the delivery of long- and short-term strategies.˙?˙˙˙Work with relevant stakeholders in order to provide the bank with captivating customer offers in order to win in the market place.?˙˙˙Support stakeholders and delivery channels in the distribution and sale of products?˙˙˙Manage third party/partners relationships and engagements and ensure targets and objectives are met.?˙˙˙Responsible for formulating the acquisition and liability product proposition strategies; and ensure the implementation and delivery of underlying product / proposition objectives.Budgets, Planning and Monitoring?˙˙˙Contribute to the preparation of the budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget, in order to ensure that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified?˙˙˙Monitor and manage over-all product performance and profitability, identify pros and cons on financial impact. Correct and direct whenever necessary.?˙˙˙Manage, update and maintain retail tariff of charges and T&Cs?˙˙˙Review budget and monitor financial performance to ensure that business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified.Continuous Improvement and Supervision of Subordinates?˙˙˙Organise and supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of the activity is carried out in an efficient manner, which is consistent with operating procedures and policy.?˙˙˙Provide training, coaching and constructive feedback to subordinates to support their overall development.˙Related Assignments?˙˙˙Perform other related duties or assignments as directed
