Job Description

Audio Video- Collecting information from team leader for installation site.- Preparing Site & arranging requested material for mobilization on installation site.- Pulling cables, fixing & Soldering Connectors.- Labelling all AV cables as per standards.- Fixing all AV equipment according to project plan.- Labelling of all AV equipment.- Operating, aligning, calibrating all AV cable & equipment?s.- Testing, commissioning and troubleshooting all AV cable & equipment?s.- Adhere to the safety standard of site installation.- Cleaning & Maintaining the installation siteNetwork & Fiber- Ability to fusion or mechanical splice SM or MM fiber optic cables, also to terminate various types offiber optic connectors (ST, SC, LC)- Installation and testing of pressurized and non-pressurized closures on all types and s of cable.

  • Experience and knowledge using Fiber Optic Scope and or a Fiber OTDR.
  • Installation and dressing of fiber optic cables (vertical/horizontal).
  • Ability to read splicing diagrams and designs to facilitate network architecture.
  • Able to perform splicing on a live Fiber cables.
  • Experience in preparation/splicing of Joint-enclosures/Torpedoes.
  • surveying work sites to determine the best installation practices.
  • Assumes other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
