Responsibilities:Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in concrete transit mixers, pumps, and other heavy equipment.Repair and replace faulty electrical components, such as batteries, alternators, starters, wiring harnesses, sensors, and control modules.Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems, including cleaning, inspecting, and lubricating components.Conduct electrical system tests to ensure proper functionality and identify potential problems.Install and configure new electrical components and troubleshoot any related issues.Assist with troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic systems as needed (experience a plus).Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used.Collaborate with the Heavy Equipment Workshop Supervisor and other mechanics to ensure the smooth operation of the maintenance function.Work in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.Manage a small inventory of commonly used spare parts, ensuring availability for repairs.
