We are hiring a Cost Engineer for our prestigious client based in Saudi Arabia / South KoreaRole: Cost EngineerJob Location: 1 year Training program in South Korea.After the training, the candidate will be deputed to Near Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.Client Industry: Oil & Gas ( EPC )Virtual Interview Date : ˙11th and 12th MayWalkin Inteview Date: 17th ˙18th˙19th ˙May 2024Place: Chennai ( Venue to be confirmed later )Overview: The Cost Engineer is responsible for managing construction costs based on subcontracts during the EPC Project execution stage.Key Responsibilities

  • Update subcontract status and summarize major changes for ongoing projects.
  • Be in charge of the internal system to manage construction costs and instruct global staff at the site.
  • Performs or supervises project cost control activities and improves internal managing processes.
  • Calculate and record the cost impact caused by the change order.
  • Discover frequent change orders with subcontractors to minimize the grey zone between bidding and execution.
  • Simulate subcontractor?s cash flow and verify bottleneck considering invoice status.
  • Organize the history of all claims, change orders, and back charges under subcontract.
