Job Description

Summary:The Translation Specialist will be responsible for providing accurate and high-quality translations from English language to Arabic language and vice-versa. The knowledge of military terminology will be preferred.˙Responsibilities:

  1. With in-depth knowledge of the English/Arabic language, perform translation of written texts, audio recordings, verbal communications of military terminology such as military commands, phrase, vocabularies and military expressions, etc. which are used by the military from English into Arabic and vice-versa.
  2. Preparing translations between English and Arabic language for military purposes.
  3. Translating covert and sensitive materials between English and Arabic language.
  4. Ensure that translated content accurately conveys original meaning and tone as well as accuracy of translated texts for grammars, spellings, punctuation and pronunciations.
  5. Translate formal, legal, technical, financial and tender documentation, contracts, agreements, letters and reports etc. from English to Arabic and vice-versa.
  6. Organize translated materials and finalize translation according to set standards regarding order, consistency, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
  7. Reading material and researching industry-specific terminology.
  8. Review of all assigned tasks before sharing with the requesters.
  9. Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure translation meets their needs.
