Job Description

The primary responsibility of IT Infrastructure Managerinclude monitoring network infrastructure and resolving system issues. An IT Infrastructure Manager needs to have experience with IT performance management, network administration and system security and must also be familiar with data protection regulations and able to juggle multiple projects.Main Responsibilities:VMware Administration:

  • Extensive working knowledge on installation of ESXI hosts and maintenance.
  • Design installation, management, and routine upgrades of VMware infrastructure and troubleshooting issues.
  • Knowledge on VM Migration & Disaster Recovery.
  • Migrating ESXI hosts from old hardware to new hardware.
  • configuring standard and distributed switches on ESXI hosts.
  • Creating and managing new datastores (VMFS5, VMFS6).
Windows Administration:
  • Installation, support, maintenance, configuration, management, monitoring, and performance tuning of all windows server architecture(s) including Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019.
  • Must have experience in the following Windows Server technologies.
  • Active Directory Domain Services, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy Management.
  • Patching and Update Services.
  • Knowledge on Exchange Server and Microsoft dynamics.
  • Event logs.
  • Windows Firewall.
  • Failover Clustering.
  • IIS.
  • Perfmon and Process Explorer.
  • Antivirus.
  • Sound knowledge on SQL will be beneficial.
AWS Administration:
  • Knowledge or some experience on managing Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Experience managing AWS firewalls and networks in a secure IPSEC, or VPN enabled environment.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Maintain system security.
  • Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware.
Network Administration:
  • Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendor.
  • Establishes network by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls.
˜Security Administration:
  • Experience managing firewalls and networks in a secure IPSEC, or VPN enabled environment.
  • Very good experience on configuring, managing, and monitoring FortiGate Firewall and FortiWeb WAF.
  • Experience on installing and managing different type of EPP and EDR solutions like Symantec, Malwarebytes, and TrendMicro.˜
