As a Mechanical Sales Engineer in our Firefighting Systems division, you will play a crucial role in expanding our market reach and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise:
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of various firefighting systems, including fixed water sprinkler systems, foam systems, gaseous systems, fire detection and alarm systems, and fire pumps.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in firefighting technology, codes, and regulations (NFPA, NFPA, etc.).
  • Analyze client needs and recommend the optimal system configurations based on building type, size, occupancy, and risk profile.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed technical proposals, highlighting project benefits and return on investment.
  • Sales and Marketing Savvy:
  • Identify and build relationships with potential clients in various sectors, including construction, industrial, commercial, and government.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve assigned sales targets.
  • Conduct successful presentations and demonstrations of NAFFCO products and services, showcasing their technical advantages and value proposition.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements with clients to secure profitable deals.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote NAFFCOs firefighting solutions.
  • Project Management:
  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations, and after-sales) to ensure seamless project execution, from proposal to installation and commissioning.
  • Monitor project progress and address any challenges promptly to ensure timely completion within budget.
  • Communication and Relationship Building:
  • Establish strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, tailoring presentations and explanations to their needs.
  • Actively listen to client concerns and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions and project documentation.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and/or engineering of firefighting systems.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical principles, and control systems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
