1. JOB DETAILS:Position Title: Senior Engineer, Mechanical ReliabilityBroad Band: M09: ProfessionalTalent Pipeline Layer: Managing Self Technical/Professional2. OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:TMGBM-Technical service team is seeking an experienced Senior Reliability Engineer to work with Technical Support Department in rotating Equipment.3. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:Qualification:

  • Bachelor?s Degree in mechanical engineering
Experience:
  • Fifteen years of experience in the rotating equipment discipline with at least ten years of relevant experience in the field of Mining (Gold ,fertilizer ,copper zinc )
Skills:
  • VCAT II is a must and VCAT III is adding value .
  • Thorough knowledge of Engineering practices, design details, calculation, standard and specification
  • Familiarity with basic investigation tools and techniques like RCA ,A3 ,?etc
  • familiar with RCM tool &FMECA
  • MLA II &VPR are must and MLA III is preferred
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Focus AreaGet results through individual contribution, effort and self managementOperational / Functional
  • Provide technical support to operation team during entire equipment Lifecyle of the plants .
  • Analyzing equipment performance and condition boundaries in order to ensure reliable and safe operation.
  • Troubleshooting for rotating equipment timely.
  • Analyzing vibration data and submitting the report accordingly
  • Reviewing oil analysis report and submitting recommendations.
  • Reviewing SPIR for critical equipment
  • Reviewing overhauling procedure (QA&QC ).
  • Providing on-site balancing recommendations.
  • Providing technical support to maintenance team to enhance preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Developing maintenance strategy
  • Propose changes in operation mode for improvement .
  • Provide technical solutions whenever the machines experience failures .
  • Provide mentorship to Junior Engineers (generate developing plans for them and assist them during the entire path of their knowledge growth ).
  • Reverse Engineering whenever required
