Job Description

You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of subcontractor management for civil, electrical, and mechanical work on our EPC projects. This includes sourcing, qualification, prequalification, negotiation, award, and management of subcontractor contracts. You will play a key role in ensuring project success by driving cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery through effective subcontractor collaboration.ÿÿÿResponsibilities:ÿ

  • Develop and implement subcontractor management plans for assigned EPC projects.

  • Source and qualify potential subcontractors based on project requirements, experience, safety
ÿúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿRecord and financial stability.ÿ
  • Conduct prequalification processes for subcontractors, including reviewing technical and financial capabilities, references, and insurance coverage.
ÿ
  • Negotiate and finalize subcontractor contracts, ensuring alignment with project specifications, budget, and schedule.
ÿ
  • Manage and oversee subcontractor performance throughout the project lifecycle, including monitoring progress, resolving issues, and ensuring adherence to contractual terms and quality standards.
ÿ
  • Conduct subcontractor performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as necessary.
ÿ
  • Manage change orders and variations for subcontracted work.
ÿ
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to all subcontractor activities.
ÿ
  • To maintain proper monitoring, tracking for invoices submission, approval, payment till reconciliation and reporting.
ÿ
  • Participate in project risk management and mitigation efforts related to subcontracted work.
ÿ
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in subcontractor management.
ÿ
  • Collaborate effectively with project stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and procurement team.
ÿQualifications:ÿúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿBachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.ÿúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿMinimum of 10 years of Proven/Hands on experience in subcontractor management roles within the EPC industry in KSAÿúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿProven experience in sourcing, qualifying, and prequalifying subcontractors.ÿúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿStrong negotiation and contract management skills.ÿúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿExcellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.ÿúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management softwareÿÿUnderstanding of relevant safety regulations and quality standards.ÿÿAbility to work independently and as part of a team.Qualifications:ÿúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿBachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.ÿúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿMinimum of 10 years of Proven/Hands on experience in subcontractor management roles within the EPC industry in KSAÿúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿProven experience in sourcing, qualifying, and prequalifying subcontractors.ÿúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿStrong negotiation and contract management skills.ÿúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿExcellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.ÿúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management softwareÿÿUnderstanding of relevant safety regulations and quality standards.ÿÿAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
