Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Dispatcher to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the transportation operations, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of goods and services. This role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and schedule transportation services for the timely delivery of goods and services.
  2. Monitor and track transportation vehicles and drivers to ensure adherence to schedules and routes.
  3. Communicate with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on delivery status and resolve any issues or concerns.
  4. Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
  5. Manage and maintain transportation records, including driver logs, vehicle inspection reports, and maintenance records.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to optimize transportation operations and improve efficiency.
  7. Resolve any transportation-related problems or emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
  8. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to drivers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Prior experience as a Transportation Dispatcher or in a similar role.
  2. Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  5. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  6. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  7. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Proficiency in using transportation management software and systems.
  9. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  10. Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
