Job Description

Sihamco Group is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Crowd & Safety Manager to join our team. As the Crowd & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our events, providing effective crowd management, and implementing safety measures to protect both event attendees and staff. This is a pivotal role that requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement crowd management procedures to ensure smooth and safe operations during events
  • Coordinate with event organizers, vendors, and security personnel to establish and enforce crowd control measures
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards that may pose a threat to the safety of attendees
  • Monitor crowd behavior and implement appropriate crowd management strategies to ensure a comfortable and secure environment
  • Train and supervise a team of security staff, ensuring that they are well-prepared and equipped to handle any crowd-related emergencies
  • Collaborate with local authorities, emergency services, and venue management to establish effective evacuation plans and emergency response procedures
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes to enhance crowd safety
Requirements
  • Saudi National
  • OSHA Certified
  • Bachelors degree in a related field
  • Proven experience in crowd management and safety, preferably in the events or entertainment industry
  • Deep understanding of crowd psychology and behavior, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential risks
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Knowledge of local safety regulations and protocols in relation to crowd management
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and make quick decisions
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills to address any crowd-related challenges
