Job Title: EditorLocation: Saudi ArabiaSalary: 25K SAR Per MonthMy client is seeking a talented and experienced Editor with a deep understanding of the Music and Entertainment industry in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. As an Editor, you will play a crucial role in executing the editorial strategy for their new entertainment platform.Responsibilities: Conduct thorough research and stay up to date with the latest music and entertainmentindustry news, developments, and trends in the MENA region. Write, edit, and proofread high-quality articles, interviews, reviews, and features on variousmusic and entertainment topics. Maintain a consistent editorial workflow, adhering to project timelines and deadlines Create engaging and shareable content that appeals to the platforms target audience, whileadhering to brand guidelines and editorial standards. Collaborate with the design and multimedia teams to enhance content with visuals, videos,and interactive elements. Ensure accuracy, fact-check information, and maintain proper attribution and citations forsourced content. Attend music and entertainment events, interviews, and press conferences to gather firsthandinformation and conduct interviews when required. Adhere to deadlines and manage time effectively to meet publishing schedules and contributeto a smooth workflow. Contribute to the continuous improvement of editorial processes and quality assuranceinitiatives.Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Editor or Writer in the Music and Entertainmentindustry, with a strong understanding of the MENA region. Proven track record of producing high-quality written content in a fast-paced digital mediaenvironment. In-depth knowledge of the music and entertainment industry, including artists, trends, events,and cultural nuances in the MENA region. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing tools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively withcross-functional teams and external contributors. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Passion for music and entertainment, with a genuine enthusiasm for creating engaging andshareable content.
