Job Description

Job Title: Environmental DirectorLocation: Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaSalary: Attractive Salary and Benefits packageAbout the RoleMRG are proud to be partnering with a leading international consultancy firm, looking to appoint an Environmental Director who will be assigned to an integrated Environmental team that services the Middle East and The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.Reporting to the Managing Directors of two of their subsidiaries, the role will be responsible for developing and implementing department organisation, procedures, policies and management procedures for environment services in KSA.Key Responsibilities

  • General monitoring of environmental operations in KSA, reporting & dashboards
  • Managing and forecasting budget requirements for the department
  • Management of contracts and sub-consultant agreements
  • Ensuring that the environmental business objectives are met efficiently and effectively
  • Capitalise the best practices and liaise with the companies entities in Europe for global capitalisation.
  • Direct and oversee environmental staff in KSA to ensure that they are motivated and trained and carry out their responsibilities to the required standard.
  • Detailing and maintaining organised and accurate project records
Skills and Experience Required
  • 15 years of work experience in a similar role, coming from an environmental engineering background
  • Middle East experience preferred.
  • Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Biology or Science.
  • Ability to work on multiple large-scale projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of follow-through and communication with key stakeholders
  • Highly effective communicator with clear and concise writing and presentation skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Written and spoken Arabic and French are a huge advantage.
