Matching with your Profile Years of Experience** 10 - 12 YearsExperience LevelMid-LevelEducation RequirementBachelor DegreeKey AccountabilitiesMain ResponsibilitiesField Drilling Operations and Planning* Execute on-site directional drilling job programs, modeling results and operational considerations, requirements or restrictions and risk analysis to achieve on-time completion of tasks.* Plan all activities related to resource extraction and recommend other drilling design alternatives using specialist techniques such as hydraulics, casing design, cement design, etc. to achieve operational output* Project daily output levels and forecast how long a site would produce desired quantities of resources, such as oil or gas, and provide suggestions to optimize drilling operations* Adhere to departmental budgets and ensure optimal utilization of all available equipment on-site for achieving operational objectives within planned resources.* Execute on-site DD programs, while keeping in mind the requirements or restrictions and risk analysis to achieve on-time completion of tasks.Client Operations Monitoring & Support* Review and confirm the job development and readiness of resources (people, equipment and material) prior to initiation of jobs, for timely completion of planned tasks.* Provide relevant operational reports daily to onsite job supervisor, to ensure visibility and efficient tracking of field activities.* Adhere to departmental budgets and ensure optimal utilization of all available resources on-site for achieving operational objectives as planned.* Align multiple stakeholders on needed change when conflicts arise and approve a new plan. In some cases, for smooth execution.Technical analysis and problem-solving* Collect, analyze and evaluate site data to determine desirability and feasibility of a well site to plan execution.* Identify on-field challenges related to directional drilling and provide solutions by individual expertise or cross-team work where analysis of data requires having a broad knowledge drilling.* Calculate overhead drilling cots, the total cost of additional drilling expenses – such as heavy machinery, rig construction, and other structures, for budget and benefit analysis.* Recommendations to the CSR to minimize risks associated with stuck pipe and well control.Operational Compliance and Special Projects* Execute jobs on site in adherence to job design standards and documentation/system requirements, to ensure alignment to departmental procedures and enhance overall operational efficiencies.* Execute special projects as assigned by reporting manager, in adherence to departmental standards, to meet organizational objectives.* Assist DD processes including tool preparations, log generation, data acquisition and quality control for compliance to standards and procedures along with daily directional driller duties.Service Delivery* In case of any incident immediately report to office and collect RT data, logs and pictures and send within 15 min of incident. FIR to CDS Office immediately.* Providing fishing diagrams of all associated equipment prior to run in hole.* Inventory and upkeep of equipment at the wellsite and after job complete inventory and next job requirements with requisition form submission before leaving the location.* Daily reports to the office and CSR at wellsite.* End Of Well Report submission within 3 days after completing the section or well.* Get all necessary documents signed timely from client representatives like Job Tickets, LIH/DBR* Proper handover of wellsite documents in case of change of Engineer during job.* On-call availability and routine travel to rig sites remote locationsPolicies, Systems, Processes & Procedures* Ensure implementation of relevant operational and organizational policies, processes and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.* Ensure adherence to Management of Change process, by obtaining required approvals and communicating to key stakeholders prior to changing any pre-planned or procedural activitiesQuality, Health, Safety, & Environment (QHSE)* Adhere to all relevant QHSE procedures, instructions and controls so that TAQA provides a safe, best in class, secure and environmentally responsible service to customers, the public and its employees.Continuous Improvement* Contribute towards identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across one’s scope of work in order to achieve the Group’s mission, vision and strategy.* Share ideas and viewpoints to further streamline processes for driving efficiency and improvements across the allotted scope of workChange Management* Manage self during and contribute to change management through participation in programs and projects that reflect international best practices and changes in the competitive environment.Job RequirementsEducation / Qualifications:* Bachelor’s in engineering (Preferably Mechanical, Petroleum or equivalent)Relevant Experience:* Minimum 10 years in Oil Field Services industry and drilling, with at least 2 years in a similar position.BenefitsFamily Benefits Medical Insurance
