Educational background in a life science discipline with an outstanding record of academic achievement
Internships or work experience in life science related areas such as pharmacology, biotech, pharmaceutical and medical products, chemicals, medical affairs, healthcare and public health, etc.
Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Proven record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities
Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
Fluency in English and Arabic
WHO YOULL WORK WITHYou will be based in our Riyadh office as part of our Middle East Office Knowledge Hub, with a full time domain focus on projects based on Life Sciences.McKinsey?s Knowledge teams provide research and analytics support to our consultants and clients. Youll work with McKinsey consulting teams in the Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa regions to deliver significant, measurable and unique impact to clients on questions related to their operations strategy and transformation, ranging from performance improvement to bench marking.WHAT YOULL DOYou?ll work in teams of typically 3 ? 5 consultants, playing an active role in all aspects of client engagement.Youll serve clients through the development of content expertise (assets, knowledge, tools) and will deliver that expertise to client serving teams and, at times, directly to clients. This includes gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing and communicating recommendations. You?ll also have the opportunity to present results to client management and implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members.Youll partner with consultants to understand their knowledge needs and youll provide content knowledge to consulting teams. Youll drive analyses to provide unique insights for client serving teams and clients directly, as required. Additionally, youll serve as a full-time member of a knowledge building team and support the writing of letters of proposals in your area of expertise through primary and secondary research.
