Job SummaryWorks under the direction of Maintenance Manager to plan & supervise all preventive and corrective maintenance, monthly /annual outage and overhauling work activities on plant mechanical equipment. Roles & Responsibilities:˙Roles & Responsibilities˙S. No.Responsibility1To prepare purchase requisitions for spare parts and consumables ensuring budgetary constraints and arrange strategic spares availability to cope up with the maintenance requirements.2Acquires considerable knowledge of the process and the relevant systems throughout the plant and applies the same to trouble shoot problems and leads the maintenance team in resolving the issues.3Executes work order through CMMS (SAP) and co-ordinates with maintenance engineer for job completion and technical matters.4To apply mechanical craft, techniques, processes and principles and be responsible for all necessary preparation required to carry out mechanical maintenance to equipment/area assigned to him.5To report to his Forman for spare parts and consumables in his area to update spares availability to cope up with the maintenance requirements.6To performs routine, corrective and preventive maintenance of plant equipments, repair, lubrication and cleaning of machines and tools, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems as per the direction of Maintenance Supervisor/ Foreman.7Ensure Environmental Aspect-Impact and Hazard Risk Assessment are carried out, controlled and updated.8Implement, monitor and report IMS objectives, Targets and programs.9˙Provide necessary resources for effective implementation and sustenance of IMS.10˙Report IMS performance to the management periodically.11Ensure Legal compliance with respect to their scope of activities.12˙Ensure identification of root cause for the identified non conformances/ deviations and to implement corrective actions/Preventive actions.13˙Identify the competency gap for their subordinate personnel and implement necessary actions.14˙Carry out annual performance evaluation of reporting employees.15˙Responsible to ensure the compliance to legal requirements, contractual and organizational requirements.16˙Provide on-the-job training to new employees and evaluate their OJT Performance.
