Job Description

  • SUMMARY
Responsible for management of all technical, environmental and energy activities to meet the clients requirements. Also, responsible for ensuring the proper operation of the utility plant.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Support and assist the Facility Managers to implement technical initiatives that meet Building and Environmental Codes and Occupational Health and Safety legislation, guidelines, standards, policies, procedure and practices.
  • Supervise Subcontractors and ensure their adherence to the established key Performance Indicators
  • Ensure the proper operation of the utility plan on site.
  • Assure the integrity of all databases.
  • Validate quality of Preventive Maintenance and intervene, if necessary, with technicians or contractors using spot checks of preventative and corrective maintenance work (CMMS).
  • Optimizing all activities included Preventive Maintenance
  • Manage environmental activities to ensure process and policy is being followed as per LEED requirements.
  • Develop and document policies and processes and provide training to Facility Managers
QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and /or ability required.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree
  • Hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in maintaining and managing technical systems and Building Automation System (BAS), with a working knowledge of CMMS.
  • 5 years experience in managing the operations of a utility plant.
  • Knowledge or equivalent experience in HVAC maintenance or design
  • 5 years Experience in managing in a LEED Certified Buildings/Properties
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • Professional Engineer designation from an accredited body is desirable.
