You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to monitor compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to quality will contribute to the successful completion of this landmark project.Your new role, whats involved

  • Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical or electrical installations at various stages of the project to ensure compliance with design specifications, drawings, and applicable standards.
  • Perform visual inspections, measurements, and tests on equipment, components, and systems to verify quality and functionality.
  • Document inspection findings, including deviations from specifications and non-conformities, and collaborate with project stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
  • Review material certifications, test reports, and installation records to confirm compliance with project requirements.
  • Monitor contractor activities to ensure adherence to approved quality control procedures and safety protocols.
  • Participate in quality audits, meetings, and discussions to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and contractors regarding quality assurance and control practices.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and documentation in accordance with project and company standards.
  • Assist in the review and approval of method statements, inspection and test plans, and other quality-related documents.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes relevant to mechanical or electrical installations in airport projects.
Wed love to hear from you if you have:
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality inspection or quality assurance, preferably in airport construction projects or similar infrastructure projects.
  • Proven knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems, equipment, and installations.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as ASME, IEEE, NFPA, and local building codes.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
  • Certification in quality management (e.g., CQE, CQM, Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and inspection software tools.
