Functionally reporting to the Financial Controller ? METCO Kuwait & administratively to thelocation General Manager, the Senior Accountant is responsible for accurate recording of financialtransactions, timely reporting, maintaining records, and compliance with financial regulations, preparingbudget and monthly MIS reports.Responsibilities:- Recording of Financial Transactions: Record all day-to-day financial transactions, includinginvoices, receipts, payments, Fixed assets, inventory, bank transactions and ensure data ischecked for accuracy, and all related documents are properly filed and documented.- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, andforecasts to guide the organization's financial activities to support its strategic goals.- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, includingincome statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other financial metrics, to providea clear picture of the organization's financial performance to management and stakeholders.- Financial Control and Management: Ensure proper financial controls, accounting principles,and compliance with regulatory requirements. Monitor and analyze financial data to identifytrends, variances, and areas for improvement.- Treasury Management: Manage cash flow to ensure the organization has sufficient liquidity tomeet its operational and financial obligations. Optimize cash flow through effective accountsreceivable and accounts payable management, and timely reporting of cashflow.- Audit and Compliance: Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with accountingstandards and regulations, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) orInternational Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).- Tax declaration: Declaration of VAT and Income Taxes as per the country Laws.- Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks and report to the Financial Controlleraccordingly.- Banking Expertise: Issuance of LC, Tender Bonds, Performance Bonds, online banking, Bank
